Hi, I’m Sarah

I’m passionate about infusing my own creativity into the administrative, operations, and marketing support I offer to creative academics, solopreneurs, and small businesses like you. My goal is simple- to make your life easier and more fun.

I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. It led me to get a Bachelors of Fine Art from The Maryland Institute College of Art in 2009. Since graduating, I’ve been running my own small business selling my mixed media artwork under the name Sarah Deming Art.

Along the way, I have held a variety of day jobs including Grocery Retail Floral Specialist, Art Gallery Administrative Assistant, Executive Advisory Firm Manager of Business Operations, and contracted Virtual Assistant for a premier Virtual Assistant agency called Peachtree Versatile Assistants. I also obtained my Digital Marketing Professional Certification from the Digital Marketing Institute in 2022.

As an experienced artist, business owner, mother, and virtual assistant, I know exactly what it takes to achieve your dreams and get ALL the things done. I founded Sarah Deming Virtual Assistant Services so that I could leverage the combination of my business acumen, creativity, and organizational prowess to help fellow creatives grow and flourish. My clients become my friends, and I promise your work will mean as much to me as it does to you.

I am highly organized, fast, and efficient while delivering accurate and high-quality work. I make the most of the hours I work for you, accomplishing more than you could ever have imagined. A problem solver by nature, I don’t take no for an answer and believe “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” I am a self-starter and fast learner, and I can adapt myself to your needs and pick up new skills to continue supporting you and your business.

A native Floridian, I have lived in Baltimore, Maryland for over 18 years. I share my life with my husband, Misha, our two beautiful daughters, Savannah and Clementine, and a silly cat named Ziggy. We are proud members of the Northeast Baltimore community, and spend our family time outdoors as much as possible: camping, hiking, gardening, and swimming.

I still run my art business and sell my colorful abstract paintings at Found Studio Gift Shop in Lauraville. If I’m not knocking out admin tasks for my clients, hiking or gardening with my family, or painting, you’ll find me listening to Taylor Swift, thrifting with my friends, reading a good book, or knitting something cozy.

I love connecting over coffee, and if you’re in the Baltimore area, I hope we can meet up and begin brainstorming how to take YOUR business to the next level!
